Teaching Assistant, Union Project: Summer Dreamers, Pittsburgh, PA, [Summer 2018]

I assisted a leading ceramicist in a classroom of diverse, vibrant 2nd and 3rd graders through Union Project, a restorative justice seeking arts center at the intersection of 4 historic Pittsburgh neighborhoods.

Cultural Engagement Executive, Student Leadership Office, Messiah College, [2017-2018]

This position combined internal education, mediation between the student body, faculty, and neighboring Harrisburg communities to create opportunities to engage with social justice topics.

Summer Art Cooperative Intern, The Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh, PA [Summer 2016]

I interned as a co-educator for the museum’s workshop based program that connects students to professional artists, installation and performance processes, and curatorial experience.

Art Educator, The Lemoyne Community Center, Washington, PA [2014-2018]

Over the past 4 years, I built up a K-12 summer art program focusing on community collaboration. LMCC provides free meals and educational experiences for vulnerable youth in my community. Each year I independently taught approximately 200 students with projects ranging from a contemporary Underground Railroad Quilt, paintings honoring local Black History through portraiture, and public mosaic murals.
